About Us

Mountain Top Boys Home helps young men prepare to take an ethical and responsible citizenship role in the community. The boys are referred by the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services and the Department of Juvenile Justice. These boys often arrive neglected, immature and challenged. Many have special physical and social needs that require counseling and medical attention. Their daily life here is organized family style, guided by professional staff and “house parents” who counsel each boy individually.

Mountain Top Homes Foster Care
In 2022, we announced our new ministry: Mountain Top Homes foster care agency. Not only are we able to provide a great loving environment for our residents here on campus, but we are also now able to provide Christian families as foster homes in our communities! Ever since the inception of Mountain Top, we have been limited by space. Through God’s favor, we are now able to place children of all ages in foster homes, keep sibling groups together, and place younger children in Christian homes. Our recruitment base is our churches. If you or your church, would like to learn more about this ministry, please
contact us.

Volunteers
Our volunteers come from local churches, Rotary clubs, companies and neighbors. They make a significant contribution to our facilities and operations. Recently they have done landscaping, road repairs pressure washing, painting, building repairs, among many others projects. Church and Rotary Club of North Cobb members cook the annual Fall BBQ for our friends and donors. We thank everyone for making Mountain Top the special place it is.

Donations
We rely heavily on donations to our not-for-profit organization from churches, community groups, individuals, service clubs and grants. Mountain Top is a Section 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt nonprofit organization, so your gifts are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.

Contributions

Your financial support is greatly needed and appreciated. It takes steady financial resources to meet the needs of our youth, keep our program running smoothly, and employ qualified talent. Please consider a monetary contribution today.
